Health Care Omnibus

This large health care bill bundles together many separate provisions: it creates several health-awareness observance weeks (including one for Lyme disease and pediatric cancer), establishes a Lyme disease research fund and task force, relaxes some telehealth rules around the physician-patient relationship, expands the state's Pregnancy-Associated Mortality Review Board, adds doula services to MO HealthNet (Missouri's Medicaid program) coverage, requires health insurers to build electronic systems for faster prior-authorization decisions, expands what pharmacists are allowed to prescribe and administer, and requires insurance coverage for home blood pressure monitors for pregnant and postpartum women.
